hello everyone. I'm an italian girl and I'm sorry if I don't speak correct english.
I think that Italy is a beautiful country, and personally, I never experienced the violence which people of other nationalities speak.
That's true, in southern Italy there's the Mafia, but this is really only dangerous for a hundred people who live there. The rest of violence I don't think is worse in other states, moreover violence is everywhere and in every state at the end is the same. It was a few days ago when a young and innocent English girl was killed here. We Italians are sad, and we really regret, because we aren't all criminals as many people are raised to think. I ask forgiveness from all, and not to consider after this terrible event, the italy as a country of criminals because it's true that there are,but not many more than in other countries.Again,in Italy we live very well and the Mafia is for me as far as Australia.

italy rocks! my aunt used to live in italy and she used to tell me stories. my names paolo, thats an italian name right? i would love to visit italy some day. but i dont think that criminal should get the death penalty. i dont think its up to us to judge whether this person should live or die no matter what he did. its not up to us. its up to God.

You speak wonderful English! I wouldn't worry about it. It is sad when anyone is hurt/murdered, but an person would be very ignorant to dismiss a whole country/people over an isolated event. Italy is a beautiful country with an amazing history.
People still attended the Super Bowl in Detroit didn't they. ;)

Italy is a wonderful place, and no negative things are ever said on national news about it, as for the criminal, the death penalty would be too easy.

It is your kind of Love and com passions that will tip the scales in favor of humanity surviving this world and all of the violence and hardships that lie ahead.
You have already made the choice to care and to love others. Making that decision early in life gives you such a head start.
When you continue to live the way you do today you become a "positive influence on others just as you have now. Calling to surface ther feelings to others. when we are faced with the violence around us we have the choice as to how we allow it to effect us.

First, your English is very good! Second, thanks for your kind thoughts. I've enjoyed my trips to Italy very much and I agree with you that is a beautiful country. You are one of the most hospitable countries I have ever stayed in and I always look forward to each visit.

We all make bad descisions and we all do bad things. Nobody's perfect.
I think Italy is a very beautiful country, and I don't think that is going to change anytime soon.

Most of us know that Italy is not a country of criminals, but when someone is harmed or killed (anywhere), tempers flare and people make broad statements that aren't true. they are jsut upset.

you have ok english actually. hard to tell if you are actually italian. i'm sorry about your mafia issues to. my papa just vacationed in Italy and said it was lovely. very pricey but the hospitality was apparently incredible.

yeah i think that every criminal should get death penalty if they have done something wrong.
