Yes.

And it's funny that you asked this. Yesterday, in church, 4 members of the congregation put on a play. It lasted 1 hour. It covered the Bible from beginning to end. It was absolutely hysterical, but it got the message across, and 5 more souls were saved afterwards. The name of the play was "Long Story Short"!

I don't like the pressure of trying to make a long story short.

I want to be free to tell it my way and as long as I want.

If you can't listen to my storytelling, well, that's your choice.

Here are the lyrics to Bye Bye Blackbird:

Pack up all my cares and woe
Here I go, singing low
Bye bye blackbird

Where somebody waits for me
Sugar's sweet, so is she
Bye bye blackbird

No one here can love or understand me
Oh what hard luck stories they all hand me
Make my bed and light the light
I'll arrive late tonight
Blackbird, bye bye

Answer 1) Because they realize that making a long story short defeats the purpose of a long story. Answer 2) Answer one sounds stupid, I will tell the truth...I don't know.

Not and have the story make any sense, sometimes you have to fill in a few details.
