The last piece of furniture I BOUGHT and paid money for was my wonderfully comfortable double bed, which I got from a second hand store for $25 with mattress. It's soooo nice to sleep on!
The last piece of furniture I GOT was from my highschool (before I graduated) :) There was this awesome corner-unit computer desk sitting unused under a stairwell so I asked the Principal if I could cart it off and he said yes. It's sitting in the corner right now in fact.
Moral of the story: Furniture is way to expensive so I don't buy it new. :P

I need too purchase a new refrigerator/freezer and new living room furniture, but the prices are getting horrible so I'll keep what I have a purchase when a big sale takes place at the military base or Wal-Mart.

Ha, we don't buy furniture, my husband's parents give us their antiques when his mom grows tired of them. I guess that last thing we BOUGHT was this huge entertainment center we had in our old house. The last thing we GOT was a bed that won't fit up the stairs.
