i give thumbs up to everyone all the time, even if i don't actually answer the Q. if the answer is good or makes me laugh then up go the thumbs.

If I have asked the question I tend to give everybody who has answered a thumbs up (sort of a thank you for answering) - as long as the answer is polite lol.
If I am answering a question and I see one of my contacts has also answered I give a thumbs up to them if they are one of my closer contacts, I have some contacts that I am never in contact with lol - I only thumbs up them if I like their answer.
PS one of these days I will manage to give a yes or no answer lol

As much as I would like to, no, I don't.....depends on the question, because, many times I don't rate answers given by anyone, or, give EVERYONE a thumbs up just for answering with their "opinions", or for personal info shared...for example, anyone answering a question like this one deserves a thumbs up just for answering :)
However, I do not give a "thumbs down" to them unless I feel they have overstepped the boundaries of propriety....and depending on the situation, will make a friendly note within my answer or send them an e-mail of explanation when it is a "touchy" situation....though, I am pleased to say that that has only happened 2 times since I started here....and since I spend a lot of time in the R&S section and have contacts of all spectrums of belief and non-belief, that is truely something! :)
....and I expect them to do the same unto me. :)

yes , i always give thumbs to all that answers my question , and in other questions i give thumbs up to my good friends from contacts.......one like u :)

yeah I always do and a star (if I remember) idk why i do it sometimes i even give a thumbs up to the answers that i don't like just because they are 'my contact'
