.....just cut the cake or smthing special? .......or just nothing special?
...i don't celebrate my b'day usually, i love a family get together on that day.. gifts hav to be a part tho.. :))

I promise i'll celebrate my birthday with my girlfriend in 2008 or 2009.
Soumya,,,, participate in Indian Idol 4 competition,,,,,,,plzz[i mean its ur wish] but as ur born on friday i know you will make it big in that competition.
edit :- I used to cut cake in my childhood days,but now i don't,,,,,,,i just wakeup,do bath,apply tilak and go to the temple,,,,,,afterwords i take my parents blessings.

Usually, I celebrate my birthday by pretending that everything is normal so that no one goes overboard or anything. I'd much rather just spend a day with friends than feel bad that someone went out of their way to do something for me.

On my Birthday my father visits the temple & gets bhog / prasad for us. My mother prepares something special for me. When i was a kid i used to cut a cake at home & invite guests but now i don't do so.
( New clothes are a must ). I take out my friends as its my treat . They get birthday cake for me & gifts too.( ofcourse that they keep as a surprise but i know it lol !! :-) )
Then we click a lot of photos & have lots of fun. :-)

I plan a trip back to my hometown New York City and I go to the bar or club and have a dew dinks and If I'm with someone then he takes me out on the town then I come back home w/ a car full of gifts

Usually scheduled to work on that day.Sometimes co workers find out and broadcast it over the store so everyone knows including the customers.

I dont celebrate my birthday.
Because it is a day when 1 year from our life is shortened.

i have a lunch out or dinner out with friends and family. if its a special bday like when you're 13 years old or 18 there's a party or we go out of town or out of the country...

My husband and I have birthdays 2 days a part, so we have a joint birthday party. We've had one since before we were even dating. It's tradition!

with friends/family...have a good dinner either at home or at a nice restaurant. I love getting flowers.
