During December there is the advent calender which gives away free prizes and sometimes neopoints, its in the icey bit(sorry cant remember the name )
Try the tombola and coltzans shrine for free stuff too.
There is also an archery game in meridell which has quite high points and its not too hard.
Also once you get money in your bank account you can collect your interest daily which increases with the more money you have.

Find games that you're good at and play them 3 times to get 3000 points each. I like Kou-jong (like mahjong solitaire), Whack a Kass (once you get the hard level opened, you can max out your score easily), Freaky Factory, Meerca Chase, and Pyramids. Try them out, see what works for you.

Do your dailies of course. Any cheats to get neopoints are a surefire way to get yourself banned.
