Normally it is included in the violation e-mail. You usually have the option of challenging the violation. I have won some and lost some. One was returned stating that they did not need to state what the violation was.

the notice itself is immaterial - I got tagged and responded as to why and 'further info please' and got a canned reply ''thank you for you response'' or some such...no further answer yet.
