Where is more interesting to spend four days? Riga (Latvia) or Kaunas (Lithuania)? what must i do if i went?

I am from Latvia and have been in Kaunas.
Go to Riga - its bigger and there is much more to see and do.

If you have to choose between the two cities (I would choose both), but OK I have heard many of my friends say that RIGA is very worth while a visit. So why not Riga!
Heard it´s a beautiful city! I know it´s an old, historical city/more of a town, really (one of the Hansa cities. Hansa, was an alliance of trading cities from the 14th century some hundred of years onwards. Hansa included over 100 towns. Lithuania was one of the Hansa countries also).
The season is not quite right now, would suggest spring or summer, but that´s just my opinion. Good luck with your choise and I hope you will have great four days in Riga or Kaunas!

I'm Lithuanian, however, I would say Riga, too... It's just bigger and has more stuff to see and do (honestly, I don't know what you would do for 4 days in Kaunas). Also, Riga is more convenient to reach if you are flying. If you chose between Riga and Vilnius, then it would be a tough one, but now it is pretty much straightforward.

I'm not a Latvian nor Lithuanian so I'll be so fare...Riga is the one. If you go to Riga, after all the pubs and clubs, buy yourself a city map and walk all day long, see the things which makes Riga different, take a coffee with balsam, enjoy your time.

I am Lithuanian but I have to say Riga. It's larger and has more things to see. If you get a chance though, go to Vilnius -it's even better. Vilnius has a beautiful old town, lots of nice bars, etc.

However, I think Tallinn is the best out of three Baltic capitals to visit.

I've never been to Riga... been to Kaunas some times.. well I'm Lithuanian.. so I'm saying-Kaunas :] lolz :)
