Hi Third P,
Truth is the 'it' the something special and meaningful that gives us all hope and keeps the flames of our belief burning.
If we act 'in truth' we are following our conscience and doing our best to behave or make decisions in as just, kind and truthful a way as we can.

What is it in truth...that does what? Causes what? Creates what? Affects whom?
Truth is when your epistemology matches empirical reality as you understand it; or when it matches your other subjective judgements.
Then there are those truths which by their definition cannot be false. A is A cannot be false. Some say these axioms have no validity because they just repeat themselves. But their meaning is important when they match empirical reality to epistemological reality: Existence exists, and A is A, does just that.

There is no external truth that is relevant, only the internal truth about YOU that is your authentic Self; namely WHAT you love. Because it is abstract, it is exceedingly difficult to remember and be at-one with. But, this truth alone, will set you free from your illusions about self and the world.

Quote: "There are no truths, only interpretations." --Nietzsche
We are philosophically obsessed with such term but in the end we have no idea if we were able to really understand such truth. Having to admit the difficulty of he question, I submit myself to the level of ignorance on such matter.
I still have to study Kant extensively for this matter. Huhuhuhu

I agree with Lucid on this one. People who claim to have found "the truth," are the ones that have a need to inflict their views on others.
Those that wonder what is it "in" truth, are the soul searchers, the philosophers.

Truth is just a word for imposing your worldview on other people.
Those who aren't concerned about other people tend to be more concerned with practicality, functionality and reason than with "truth".

The right is the root of the matter and the answer. It's not an opinion or choice, it's the reality of a situation or dilemma.

Anger. There aren't many in our world that enjoy hearing the truth nor speaking it either.

'It' is a pronoun, a neuter pronoun, it does not suggest gender of a sexual nature. "it'' replaces the name for an object as subject when 'it' is needed to increase writing efficiency. 'It' has special grammatical rules for 'it' and its 'its' usage, e.g. the word 'the' is not put before 'it' as in ''the it''. However, if 'it' serves a purpose outside of 'it's rules for grammaticization for word syntax, 'it' is used in ways that contradict those rules for 'it' usage and its 'its' usage included.
