Never! I work in the disability field so i know how important those spots are. My mother also has a disability and i have a temporary one is it's made me so aware of how important those spots are. It makes me angry to see people park in the that don't have a sticker!

In Australia you can get these labels that you can stick on the windscreen of people who park in the spot with no sticker. I also think fines for this should be higher!

I guess I technically did so a couple of times, right after my old permit expired (I had forgotten). Fortunately, I didn't get a ticket. Now we have a handicapped plate on the car, so I don't have to worry about it.

I NEVER parked in those spaces, not even once, before I had a permit. I refused to accept the permit for about five years after my doctor first suggested it, too. If I'm having a good pain day, I always leave those spaces open for others. If my partner is with me, he drops me off at the door of places, then parks the car further away, so that we won't take up a space.

I get absolutely incensed when I see people leaving shopping carts in disabled spaces rather than putting them away--it's really common at grocery stores around here. I report people who park in them without permits, too (though I do look very closely to see if I might have overlooked the permit, first).

I don't drive much--my partner usually has the car. If I'm not with him, he does NOT use the disabled spots.

Nope, but I don't have a badge now...I have the disabled license plate.

Back when I had the badge I had to hang from my rear view mirror, one time it fell down onto the dashboard, where it was still clearly visible, but I got a citation for parking in a disabled spot without a badge anyway. I had to go to court and show my paperwork proving I had the right to park there or I'd have had to pay a hefty fine.

Maybe once or twice but that was because the badge was lost. More often than parking without a badge I have taken up multiple parking spaces do to the lack of accessible parking spaces.

No, but many people in my area do as they always seem to be full on non-badge cars. Some people also borrow them to go out even if the disabled person is not riding in the car.

Never!
My uncle is quadriplegic, and one time when I was with him, we went to Tim Horton's, and there was 5 motorcycles parked in the ONLY handicapped parking space. I was a bit peeved, as they obviously did not need that space at all, and WE DID! Luckily there was another parking spot nearby, but I find that is so disrespectful.

No, and I am disabled but I know there are people who need the parking space worse than me. Like my dad who has Polio. Who ever does that should be ashamed of themselves. And sadly, I see it alot. Some people just have no respect for others or themselves for that matter.

I did once when I had a broken foot. Never again after that. It is my pet peave when I see ppl parking there because they have a dozen kids or running in to load up on beer (yep I actually saw it). We have to remember tho that some ppl have "invisable" disabilities. I pray that those who use it are doing so honestly & note abusing the right.

I do it all the time. My mom's friend is disabled and doesn't drive her car, so she let me have her handicap thing thingy. I park in handicap spaces whenever there is one! But when I get out of the car of course I pretend to limp...you know...out of courtesy. It's so awesome not to have to pay at parking meters! Score one for me...zilch for some disabled person who actually needs that space.
