It's not just the libs, the rest of us also have to live with the consequences of the 2000 Supreme Court decision.

I lived in Florida during the Bush/Gore election and Time and New York Times did not count any votes. At least get your facts straight. And every vote was not counted. A lot had to be thrown out because they were considered unreadable because of the hanging chads. And in a Republican run state, as Florida was and not to mention that Jeb was George's brother, who do you think was counting the votes. Your right! The Republican employees of Jeb Bush. I have nothing against Jeb because he was a very good Governor, but he should have run for the Presidency and not his brother George.

Even if multiple recounts showed that Bush actually won in Florida, he still lost the popular vote. More Americans wanted Al Gore to be President than wanted George Bush. And the broken system that let Bush win is still with us and may once more do away with the will of the American people in 2008.

Why do you cons deny the truth?
Everybody has known for a long time now that if ALL the ballots were counted; Not just provisional, etc. - Gore won.
It must be kind of like thinking Iraq still had something to do with 9-11 - Even Georgie Bush can tell a rare truth and FACTS still don't penetrate even when they hit you over the head...

Because the majority of the American people voted for Al Gore. On the otherside.... I don't think there has been one republican debate without a candidate mentioning Ronald Regan.

I hate these swooping generalizations. But compare that to the posts about Clinton and Carter.

They can't let go of the past. The country has greatly turned into a Christian conservative society, as our forefathers intended.
