Does youth fade, or does maturity blossom? Some of the most beautiful women I have ever seen are not in their teens or twenties. There is no reason to believe beauty fades. A woman in her 50's or even 60's can still carry the fire. There is really something to be said for experience and the badges it leaves behind.

I would only want to return to youth for an extension of my time here on earth--certainly not for my looks nor the content of my character, which I find to be improving with age. I am vey content with the aging process so far and can look past a wrinkle or two and see the life that has made me who I am today. I feel awful for those who fear aging, the alternative really sucks.

Why do you think so many cosmetics companies want you to think their "age-defying" crap actually works? NOTHING will keep you from getting and looking OLDER. Plastic surgeons can only tighten the skin on your face and lift your boobs just so much before you start looking like a circus freak. People who worry about wrinkles should have thought of that when they were laying in the sun, getting that "healthy tan" 30 years earlier.

Yes, as shallow as this sounds, there probably isn't anything I wouldn't give to stay young and pretty. But it's something that one has to accept. Thankfully, I have good genetics and I wouldn't complain a bit if I looked like my mom does now in 20 years!

How beautiful you are in the inside is so much more important and it LASTS FOREVER!
