depends on whether it's a comic book villain or a pirate you're talking about.
if it's the former, then I choose number 2. If it's the latter, then number 6.

If you count this as an actual word, which I don't, it would have two a's as in aardvark.
But, I think you are pulling our chain, so in the word you spelled there are 5 "a"s".
But as an equation "a" is an unknown value so there is no set number for it. so as an equation this is unsolvable.
Also, if you take the average or your listed examples 45/9=5
Being this is not a word there "0"

Depends on how piratey you are and what nation you hail from.
For instance:
A Jersey Pirate would be Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarg
(20 A's, because in Jersey, everything is Twenty Minutes away)
A Manhattan Pirate would be Argh
.... cause they're retarded.

It all depends, how many spaces does the writer of the word want to take up?

depends on how loud and painful you want your aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh to sound. I usually use four or five of them to give a dramatic scene

argh = mild discomfort
aaaaaaaaaaaargh = kick in the ********
