I very rarely go to movie theaters. Not my thing.
I almost always wait 'til movies come out on DVD (or on cable/satellite if I'm not pressed). I've just never been able to get into the whole theater deal. Kids screaming and crying, loud mouths yapping and yelling, blah blah blah.... Ain't my kinda thing at all.
As far as movie genres are concerned, I'll watch pretty much anything. But horror is my favorite (gore in particular). I do think I might buy "American Gangster". I wouldn't mind seeing it. (I never rent. Either I buy movies, catch'em on T.V., borrow them from my peeps, or I just don't watch them.) My husband wants to watch it more than I do, though. But he's black, which I only mention since you addressed the question to non-blacks.
Speaking of addressing the question to non-blacks- Why did you do that? Don't you think there are black people who went to see the movie (or would want to)? Just wondering.

I saw it. It was ok. I was expecting a little more from Denzel. The movie left out too many details and didn't go over things thorough enough.

I don't watch many movies. If my daughter brings it home I'll probably watch it and if she tells me it's a good movie. 2D

nahh not my thing, i'm a sci/fi nut. however virtuosity that had the both of them was quite good
