It's not just ANY Earth, it is THE Earth. Like how some many people used to talk about world war two as THE war. People reserve the word THE to go in front of nouns that are of special importance to the point of being the one and only.
That is really a language question and not a science of astronomy question.

" The " is usually used to refer to a particular,familiar object.Since the Earth is familiar than any other planet it is referred to as 'The Earth'.

People could think you meant soil.. Or dirt..

Probably because we don't have a word "Earthian" to describe things belonging to Earth. Sometimes, however, we do use Terran.
