My husband and I have had some sexual issues. Im 7months pregnant and I have spoken to him about it. At this stage he is scared of hurting the baby and tells me everyday how beautiful and desirable I am and that conforts me.I told him sex is important, not just for our marrriage but also to "keep me open" we had sex on Saturday morning and I felt like a virgin..(its been a month since we last made love) I am very horny these last couple of weeks and have started mastrubating to relief my frustration, sometimes three times a night..Can this be dangerous for my baby?or any side effects?

Not dangerous at all. No side effects.

It's understandable that he's worried about hurting the baby - just do "other stuff" instead. I'm sure you'll figure out an alternative.

No danger for your baby, the same that a penis wont come so far to hurt the baby. but with all sexual activity in the last third of pregnancy it can give you burtox hicks (or something like this) which are just light contractions which your body needs to train and prepare for the real thing. So tell your husband that he can help you now to have an easy birth later. Just keep it slowly and cuddly.
And you should be carefully with masturbation or any heavy rubbing, it could give you thrush (itchy) which could develop in an infection.

The only thing I'm thinking of is for you to be open about what you've been doing. I'm sure he'll be a little hurt, maybe suprised, but it's so important to stay connected! Maybe once you tell him that, he'll be open to being with you during this process. Good luck!

It should be safe to go ahead and do that but why masturbate when you can have the real thing. Just tell him to be extra careful with you he does not need to go in completely if thats what's hurting you. If this doesn't work (maybe oral sex)...Some people are against it but it's an option.

Perfectly safe (just like sex) but maybe suggest a bit of oral sex it he's worried that much and you feel that horny.

Show your husband some of the answers from your question this may help as well.

Explain to your husband that intercourse will NOT harm the baby if it is gently done during the last trimester of your pregnancy. Ask your Dr.
Second of all, it is ok to masturbate, that will not harm anything as long as you are not sticking foreign objects up there.
Keep you open??

Why not get you husband to watch you and you watch him doing the same. It is a real turn on.

Not dangerous unless told by your doctor not to have an orgasm. Good for you!

Mastrubation, like intervaginal intercourse, is fine and will not harm your baby.

As far as side effects ..... orgasm!
