I'm just wondering why Hillary supporters would vote for her, and if someone is against her why they dislike her. I personally detest her, but I'm just curious as to why some people think she's a good candidate.

Golden, can you please expound on what she is promising to make the middle class and bipartisanship her agenda? Inform me please.

Wizzards, I did indeed see her answer about the NY driver's license's. I am from New York in fact, and that is a big issue to me. She doesn't care about my home state, and that's one of the many problems I have with her.

I was reading on her issues for strengthening the middle class, some of which will only hurt the middle class. Making health care affordable means that she will somehow subsidize health care, most of which will come of out middle class American's pockets. Also, increasing the minimum wage is not helping the middle class either. The minimum wage is a price floor set on the market for labor. This means that companies will have less employees, which will increase unemployment, which will lead to them being on welfare, which leads to more money out of the pocket of middle class Americans.

I think this woman needs an economics degree, not a law degree. Her "strengthening middle America" policies usually lead to more money of the the middle class American's pocket. I think that people just take what she says at face value rather than looking deeper into what impact her issues would have.

Seeing as how all the Republican candidates are on record as trying to outdo each other in who would torture more, who would strip more of our freedoms, who would stay the course the longest in Iraq, and who would expand all the illegal practices done falsely in the name of the War on Terror, I'd vote for her because the alternative would be too horrible to contemplate.

Other than that, she doesn't have much going for her, in my eyes.

I prefer Gore, Obama, or Dodd, but if it comes down to Hillary or any of the Republican candidates, I'll be voting for Hillary.

The republicans have held power and made a complete mess of things. Every thinking American must do all they can to get these neo-cons out of office.

I believe Hillary can repair America's image, and she is the strongest Dem candidate on national security. She has a law degree and is a valedictorian...she earned these things on her own merits, and was not handed power based on family name.

Another poster was correct...the middle class is disappearing, and the rich have gotten far richer under this president then at any time in history.

Hillary will protect the middle class, which has always been the backbone of this nation.

I supect you 'detest' her because you listen to way too much right wing radio. Given the time and effort these bums put in assassinating this woman's character it's no wonder you feel that way. Let's try to get past the 'swift-boating'. Sen. Clinton is a centerist and she has a good grip on the idea that politics is the art of the possible. Wall Street has decided that she's better for buiness than the right wing of the GOP. She's well aware that the world isn't a safe place, but has no pie in the sky ideas that conventional US military power is going to change that equation. Covert action in concert with other nations facing the same threats can change the equation....and most military people agree. Hillary Clinton believes that the middle class needs a friend after eight years of being treated like a bum on the street. Hillary Clinton isn't the enemy of civil rights. All people have a right to their day in court. Clinton believes that it's possible to have universal HEALTH INSURANCE for all americans while keeping the HEALTH CARE system as it is. Clinton has regard for the environment and the enforcement of environmental laws. People the world over 'like' her and they like Bill as well. Right there our country will have a step up....personal diplomacy goes a long way...don't discount it. Clinton will suggest middle of the road judges...not right wingers. We've tried the 'new' Conservative mishagass...it ran the US deep into debt....got most of the world steamed at us....got us into a war with no natural stopping place....has pissed away our lead in science...hasn't particularly done much in this so-called War on Terror....has divided our country into 'red' and 'blue' states...has allowed massive job loss to 3rd world countries who send us inferior goods that are sold at almost the same price as if they were made in the USA...the list goes on. The Bush Junta turned out to be a failure even by their own standards and the this new crop of GOPers who want to be president are pretty much the same folks. No thanks...I'll take Clinton and watch her like a hawk...so should you!

This woman has a lot of problems. Especially with flip flopping, a big issue from the last campaign. Did anyone see her answer to the immigration thing with the drivers licenses in NY?

Hell no !
When she gives Amnesty to illegals I can kiss 25 years of hard earned social security, goodbye!
Every 20 yer old illegal can bring over their Mama and Papa and Grandparents from both sides!
If they are to old to work then they will receive MY social security, medi-caid, etc.
Oh my god! Don't people understand what this will cost us!
There will be more people than jobs!
Americans will have to wait in line with millions of foreigners to get a job in their own country!

She's extremely intelligent & she knows the ins & outs of the White House. She's been there before & she knows what the job requires. She's a Democrat & I have had enough of the Republicans. By the way, I'm an Independent voter.

I would not vote for her only because of a friend i knew who was a Marine security guard at the white said Hilary would treat the marines like crap. She would make fun of them, make fun of their uniforms, demean them and made anti military jokes. I am sure this is true, my friend had no reason to lie.

I'd rather die than support a socialist. Why lay to waste all the efforts of the USA fighting socialism during the cold war?
