if i am going in reverse, and i turn my wheel all the way to the left in a parallel park, and i parallel park, and now I just want to back away from he car in front of me srtraight, i wan to be able to back out straight, so how many times do I have to turn the steering wheel to the right to get my car backing up straight?

Why don't you just count those turns yourself and then let us know? If you like, you can count the turns from left lock to right lock and divide by 2.

Every car is different, so you just need to figure it out on your own car.

well.....every car is different. just do it slowly and you'll know when you've straightened the wheel. practice a lot and you'll be fine. parallel parking came naturally to me when i first learned luckily, but all my friends in drivers ed needed a lot of practice at it. it will get easier. practice practice practice.

If your steering wheel is properly adjusted, when it is perfectly straight, in front of you, your wheels should be straight as well.
