I am from UK and there already is a DNA database, where samples are taken from arrested persons and kept on file....so it can be done...the technology already exists....

I can see the use full purpose for it. and i personally think its a good idea for all kinds of reasons HOWEVER!! peoples trust in government has never been at such a critical level. the lies, the deception. the out and out nest feathering and 'in some cases' even murder treason and genocide. when new labour have been thrown into social oblivion and in 10 years down the line some truth and honesty be put back in government then 'perhaps' yes. but under new labour i would fight the policy to the death because i simply don't trust the traitors.

Very strongly, but would store it three different way. 1 confidentially for medical research 2 was identifier of identify for one to replace Social Security card, 3 Data base o be used in criminal investigations.

It would depend on what the database was used for.
Identification in case of death = OK

If they tied to use it in criminal cases, I think that would go against the US constitutional right not to be forced to give evidence against yourself.

NO! Absolutely not. So many innocent, law-abiding citizens would be questioned and harrassed because of a random strand of hair that feel out someplace! The inncocent people need to be left alone, it's out right!

I think it's a good idea. I found out what blood type I am when I donated blood about 4 years ago. I think it's important to know to save a life or even your own.

There is no doubt that the use of DNA has assisted in solving many crimes, it may also help to deter future illegal immigration.

No- but there's enough brainwashed sheeple who'll believe anything they're told by 'authority' to make the possibility a real danger.

i could truthfully be for it. i understand some human beings will bang on approximately 'human rights' and all that stuff, yet whilst u have been on the receiving end of a extreme crime, u could be thankful for a device like that.... my sister grew to become into raped whilst she grew to become into in her childrens. her attacker grew to become into under no circumstances caught. something like this could have positioned that sicko at the back of bars, the place he belongs.

Yes, but the goody goodies will never agree. It would save loads of police time and stop all the scroats.

Makes you wonder what they've got to hide that they don't want such a thing.
