I'm just wondering if you need other degrees

I would say at least 100 degrees

I have mixed with a couple of explosive research & development people. they tend to have an engineering degree (mech or elec) and a military background. Other than that, you would need to do a full apprenticeship and be trained up 'on the job'

Suggest that you try the Institution of Fire Engineers. They have different career pathways. Whether you need a degree to advance would depend upon where you wish to advance to & whether you are seeking international recognition thus mobility.

There is no such degree.

If you wish to study fire dynamics, you need to do a degree in Fire Engineering.
