I got such interesting results the first time I posted this question, I thought I'd try it again. Let me start things off:

1.) I was born left-handed; but my mother, a Christian fundamentalist, would whack me on the back of my hand with a wooden spoon every time I tried to draw or write with that hand, thinking that left-handed things were "of the Devil". One time she "corrected" me so forcefully she broke two of my fingers.

2.) The first time in my life I ever saw snow was two days before my 31st birthday -- the day I moved to Alaska. It was ten inches thick on the ground in October, and didn't go away until mid-April.

3.) I have never been to a concert.

4.) I first grew my beard in order to imitate Alan Rickman, because I thought he was so frickin' cool in the movie "Die Hard".

5.) Even though I am a radical atheist, I once played Jesus in the Christmas pageant of our local church.

1) Oddly enough, I was also born left-handed. My parents thought that it was the work of the Devil, so they trained me to use my right hand. Now, 20 years later, I can't do anything with my left hand; I have absolutely no coordination and no power in my left hand/arm.

2) I am a computer nerd, with absolutely no knowledge of computers. I spend about, 5/6 of my day on the computer/laptop, and have done so for many many years now... and I still dont know anything about computers. Friends always seem to come to me with computer problems, thinking I would know how to solve them... and the only way I helped any of them, was by telling them to ask someone else.

3) I love Kevin Smith movies. I really liked Clerks, Clerks 2, Mallrats, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Chasing Amy... and especially Dogma. In fact, I enjoyed Chasing Amy and Dogma so much that I actually LIKE Ben Affleck as an actor.

4) I am also a TV-holic. I watch so many TV shows, that whenever someone recommends a show for me to watch, 80% of the time, I already have. However, I spend very little time in front of an actual TV. Unfortunately, living in Canada and not having a satelite dish, I dont get a lot of the American shows I enjoy, and therefore, I download them. It's gotten to be such a habit, however, that even with the shows I can watch on my TV, I just skip and download it later on my computer.
