Whimpy little 12v vacs don't really provide the suction needed to get the lint out of carpet mats and dirt out of the seams of leather seats. I use a Dewalt 5 hp 16 gallon wet and dry Vac. ANd a little 1hp dirt devel hose canister vac for little jobs. Girot's Garage has some fine high end automotive cloeaning and detailing supplys. Hang on the wall vac in the garage with a 16 to 20 foot hose is ready each time you come home.

Anyone that works and has attachments for cleaning. I use a standard Eureka that has the car attachments the one that you would clean your house with!
