or any of the founding fathers, for that matter ....
America has come so far from some of the things it was when they founded the country - some of them good, of course, but some of them not so good, IMHO.

I think he would be amazed and proud of some things, yet appalled at other things. (I'm not sure how he would think of the way dress has evolved since his time. I mean, back then if a lady showed ankles, she was a whore. Now, we walk around in shorts and tank tops.) He might faint at that! Also, he'd probably have a hard time understanding us sometimes. So much slang is a part of our speech these days, that we don't even realize it. He might not know what OK means, or sure!. Good thing is, we could talk to him in pirate, and he'd totally understand that! hehe!

George Washington would be appalled. Today we have a government running the lives of a population that has become sheeple. That is what he and all the founding fathers were trying to prevent. The government is there to serve the people. As it stands now, it is the other way around.

I think he would be ashamed and really impressed. The things America does sometimes isn't so great but we have discovered many things and we are one of the top countries in the world. I think he would be proud of that.

They were all wise men so I wouldn't expect them to think that things would of stayed the same. I think they would still be proud of what they helped create.

He would be in awe of the vastness of it, and wonder where all the people came from. He would probably be very disappointed in how the government has changed

I am sure he would be proud that we have made it this far and that this country is so strong we can survive an incompetent president.

The country is stronger than one man.
