They would make less money, since that would mean that the following people can't check in:

- business men and women
- children, especially ones in school vacation groups
- travellers
- singles
- lots and lots of other people

So accepting only married couple's do limit their choice of customers.

However, certain hotels do specialized on only accepting couples, either married or not. Love hotels are one of those type of hotels.

Now if you mean if the only type couple allowed to stay there is the married kind and the hotel managed to enforce their policy into a 100 percent efficiency.

No, they will not be out of business, they might make less money. The high roller non married couples can't check-in. The low budget non married couples probably use a non hotel alternative, since even these days many of them already skipping hotels since they considered hotels to be too expensive.

I'm eternally single. Does that mean I can't get a hotel room when I go on a business trip, or to a convention, or on vacation?

No, in fact, if marketed correctly, I think it would probably be even more popular.

Many couples want to go someone on holidays without anyone elses kids annoying them.

I have kids so no good for me, but I think my friends would love it.
