Hi. Can anybody tell me the pros and cons of buying coupe vs sedan? And what's the difference between sedan and saloon? Thank you.

This is more of a question of ART then of semantics.

The proper naming of a body style (that is essentually what you are asking) has taken on many forms over the last 95 years. A coupe USED to be classified as a two seated car, with no more then a cursory amount of room behind the front seat, but the marketing of cars has taken one persons idea of a body style and stole the name, putting in onto another completly different piece of work.

Today, the term sedan describes a rather pedestrian type of body style, straight seats, wide doors, with piller supports, a basic strong car. A coupe can be almost anything the maunfacture wants it to be. A saloon is an odd term in the American automobile genre, probaly best described as a stretch limosine, the term being taken from the French, meaning an informal place to sit and entertain.

Better to make a good color choice then a body style. Much catchier to the eye come resale time.

Believe it or not your question is a prime example of why Chevrolet dropped the sporty looking Monte Carlo from it's line-up. A local Chevrolet dealer told me overall coupes are very slow movers plus at trade in time they are worth-less than a sedan.
I'm with you however, coupes have a smaller green house (area above the body) and are usually lighter, more areodynamic and sporty looking. Take the Toyota Camry Solara for example. You've got your choice of a convertable or sedan. You have your choice of the 2.4 - 155 hp. four cylinder and the 3.3 - 210 hp. V6.
