Not only is China a threat to our children's toys, etc. China according to the FBI the greatest threat against our country and our government in terms of espionage!
Thousands of front companies have been set up to aid Chinese spying, according to the Malden Institute.
A new report from this respected think tank titled "The Chinese Secret Intelligence Service," warns that China's intelligence service is a vast, shadowy organization that
employs approximately 2 million full, and part-time agents.
The FBI says that we have more foreign spies here now than
we had during the cold war!
The Maldon report claims there are more that 3000 of these Chinese front companies, and the FBI says, China will remain the greatest threat for the next 10 or 15 years!
The FBI is also following up on Chinese students with a computer science degree.
The main thing I would worry about is OTC supplements. Know the companies, and the source of all your medications. This might be the least of our worries. I am certain we would know as I do not believe the FDA is corrupt.

When working with China, you need to specify what you want done and how to do it. You need to carefully look into their manufacturing process and give them guidelines. In the past, there were not many screw ups like people being poisoned by products in China. China has had a good record on things like this.

I have a tendicy to believe that unless it was fatal (and maybe not even then...who knows) it would not be released to the public for fear of mass hysteria.
On the other hand,as this government has been labeled as fear mongers, maybe they would tell everyone and declare the taintings as an act of terrorism.

If the trustworthiness of wal-mart was to be put on a life of one person, I would trust Wal-Mart with it.
