The Iran situation has been going on for 30 years and has only become progressively worse. Are you and all your liberal friends this uninformed?

You can't have diplomacy when you won't even talk with the country. If I was Iran, I'd be upset too. The US won't talk with them and all they do is impose more sanctions. That's not the best way to ease tensions with a country.

Have you noticed that every time gas prices start to sink and stay at a lower level that Bush says something about Iran to raise tensions with Iran. Gas prices were down to about $2.50 to $2.60 per gallon here. I still think that is exhorbitently high, but it's better than $3.00 per gallon. Once gas started hovering at that price for a while, our good old friend Bush had to start talking about if Iran gets nukes it will be WW3. Then he starts mentioning the possibility of invasion and ups the sanctions on Iran.

The thing is that there were no new deadlines for new sanctions against Iran. And really nothing new has happened with Iran. So why then the increased threats and increased sanctions? I'm not saying it is intentional, but I find it a little odd that every time gas prices go down and stay down for a while that Bush finds some reason to get on Iran again then gas prices and oil go skyrocketing back up.

Very shortly after Bush made his WW3 comment oil prices go up over $90 per barrel and gas prices go up over 40 cents per gallon.

And its also very convenient that Bush's family is as we all know a family that has made their wealth off of oil.

Bush has been great for the oil tycoons. Back when I was house shopping 3 years ago gas prices were $1.50 per gallon. Now they are up over $3.00 per gallon. The average price of gasoline in 3 years has doubled. I wish my salary had too in that amount of time.

One last oddity, kinda nice also for the oil tycoons that Bush Administration removed federal funding to help get E85 off the ground just at the time that Bush makes his WW3 comments and gas prices rise over 40 cents per gallon. Seems like a good way to eliminate any minor potential competition just as people were starting to buy E85. I was wondering why not a single oil company was investing in E85 plants.

Donald Rumsfeld is a good choice for secretary of state should Bush need to replace Condi. He has experience, serving in cabinet in the 1970's and 90's. I know he is a good man.
