some men think that is the answer to a womans problem... "you need to get laid" is their answer. Have we as men become this shallow? Do women ever get tired of seeing women portrayed as sex objects?

Because men still have that caveman thing - they have to fix things and in their mind if they have sex - everything will be okay.
I wish my boyfriend had this problem............ I want to have sex and he don't. He has no urge - he is happy without sex. I have never seen anything like it ----------in my life! I think women do get tired of being portrayed as sex objects but at the same time ( when the time is right) I think they want to be.

If you do not believe that very much of all our personalities are tied to our sexuality, you will be doomed to ask this question for a long time. The problem is you will never understand.
The men who answer with "you need to get laid' are over simplifying a significant problem. A person who is denying their own sexuality will not be able to rise to a level self actualization. That answer is crude but often accurate.
We are all wired to be sexual creatures. In a committed relationship sexuality is the single best method of demonstrating love and INTIMACY. This has nothing to do with objectification and every thing to do with maintaining a healthy relationship.

We as men? Your generalization is just what many feminists of the 30's and 40's fought against. You have been brainwashed by the nazi feminists that feel they are all that matter. You should consider your questions more before posting them.
I do not think that my penis is the answer. I think that an honest expression of love is the answer. Sometimes it is intimacy and sometimes its something else. Normal women feel the same way. It's not about "Getting Laid", it's about intimacy you jerk.
