Scaramouche is simply the best. It is a huge shame Granger didn't make more films of this genre.

Hi there.
At the risk of looking trendy, my top three in order are:-
1. The 3 Musketeers (Michael York/ Oliver Reed)
2. The Mask of Zorro (Banderas/Hopkins/Zeta-Jones)
3. Pirates of the Caribbean (Depp/Bloom).

They have the technical know-how to put on a spectacular show now, despite the classier writing and acting of the old days. But 3 Musketeers has stil not been beaten.
