dude u dont have to have sex with both genders to find out ur sexuality. Look at everyday life. Do u like women or men physique more?
how can people not know about their sexuality is beyound my imagination.

A person is gay if he is attracted to people of the same gender. Therefore, it is not a choice. What you DO about it is where the choice comes in; but this is secondary--it does not make you any more or less "gay". Think about it. When a little girl has a crush on a little boy, is she not considered straight unless she has sex with him? Of course we don't wait until people have sex to let them define their sexuality! The idea that this is the case with homosexual people is an an outdated and a homophobic one. You cannot help who you are & are not attracted to. If you are attracted only to people of the same sex, you're gay.

Sure they can. It's called "behavioral modification". Organizations such as Exodus promote it. They require that you stop being sexually active, but that doesn't necessarily change what is going on inside.
I am gay but I could go sleep with men if I wanted to. I could perform that act; however, that does not change anything. I could still feel attracted to women, but just not act on it and be miserable.

yes you can. Just like you can be straight without having sex. Being gay means that you are attracted to people of the same sex, which you can do without having sex.

Sexual preference has got nothing to do with acting upon it or not. Is a man/woman only heterosexual AFTER having sex with the other sex? No.
