An ISP stands for Internet Servixe (site) Provider. They provide you with the hookup from your house to their servers and from their to the Internet(which is juat collection of servers with unique addresses.
A CDN Content Delivery Network, is a server on the internet. They provide the interaction, content, and value (information like news)

But, without the ISP, none of it would be possible.
