Wicked, Son of a Witch, Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister, all by Grergory Macguire
The Artemis Fowl books by Eoin Coulfor (sp?)
The Circle Series by Ted Dekker
I really don't think I'll get any of these, my parents wouldn't spend that much on me.... but I can hope for at least the first two or a gift card to Lemstones so I can get the Circle Series.
OMG! And the Harry Potter hard cover box set!!! I want that sooo bad! But I know my parents won't buy me that. I'll just have to save my money....

I would enjoy the latest Tony Hillerman mystery, I love the setting for them, it's the 4 corners area of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Arizona. I find things on Native American culture interesting.
Here's a wish only Santa could give: I wish I could have a new book from all my favorite authors who are no longer alive...something from C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Madeline L'Engle, L.M. Montgomery !!!! I don't ask for much, do I? ;)

Any good autobiography.
Some books on Latin and Irish language as I am teaching myself!
What I am hoping that Father Christmas will bring me is......
Book 3 in the Septimus Heap series. Its for kids but I love it! Its as good as Harry Potter!
Septimus Heap is a series of seven books written by Angie Sage, featuring a protagonist with the same name as the series, Septimus Heap. Three books have been published. The books are called "Magyk", "Flyte", and "Physik".
Angie Sage the author has announced that the title of book 4 will be "Queste" and it will be released on the 5th of May 2008 in the United Kingdom and on 16th April in the United States. ~ That's too long for me!

Actually, I'm getting a first edition of a book written on the Battle of Antietam during the American Civil War that has just been released.
I buy books all year long, so they usually aren't on the top of my list... I buy them for myself.
My wife would like any guide book for antiques; glassware, toys, furniture... she loves the all.
g-day!
