Its not like muslim arabs can possibly hate Jews any more then they do now.

It literally would start WW3. The Temple Mount is under 'Muslim' control at present, as I am sure you're aware.
It is widely held by many orthodox Jews and Evangelical Christians (therefore the Israeli and their supporting US goverments) that the Temple must be rebuilt in order to facilitate the 'second coming', or Armageddon, depending on the faith group involved. The Muslim authorities are resisting them at present.
So you have two nations who want, in essence, to rebuild the temple so that religious prophecy can be fulfilled, and one stopping this from happening. If the Israeli/ USA authorities DID manage to seize control of the temple mount and start rebuilding (there is actually a small group stationed near the Temple Mount with the first foundation stones ready), armageddon would commence and the faithful would be saved.
If nothing happened, a war would commence owing to A) the Muslims being ousted from the Mount and B) Israeli/ US forces being denied their rapture and starting a conflict reflecting this.
A bit long winded and complicated, I know, but true. Of course there are all the other political and economic ramifications on top of the spiritual.

They are interested but retaking the temple would require force and the international outrage would crucify them!!!!
It will happen though. Earthquake maybe? Perhaps a disgruntled Muslim will destroy it? I don't know. But I do know that Solomons temple will be rebuilt on that site. When it is ...run for the hills darlin because the whole damned world is in for a real gut wrenching pounding that will change the face of mankind.

Your right it is hard to imagine Muslim Arab hate for Jews growing from such an incident.
That dose not mean they cannot shift from hate to active violence.
Damaging the dome of the rock would very likely cause another war.
