I m trying to think of the name of a particular tree. They look like long and skinny christmas trees and theyre known for being in cemeteries. My first thought was cypress tree but i m not sure about that at all, the pictures that i was able to get on google all looked different.

It will probably be a yew tree (Taxus baccata) as these are always found in church yards and cemeteries. The practice of planting them goes back to pagan times, when they were believed to have mystical significance.

Quite possibly a cedar tree of some kind, there are varieties bred to be especially tall and skinny that are often used in landscaping, though they're not necessarily associated with cemeteries more than elsewhere. It depends on where you live as well, but is it something like this? http://www.conifers.co.nz/thuja/THUJA%20OCC%20PYRAMIDALIS%20GROUP%20PLANTING%20W.JPG
