That is a strange question? Not sure what you mean exactly. There are a couple of reasons why it may start up at night. Both are BIOS related. Check a recent update hasn't switched on "turn PC on when phone rings" and "switch on a certain time". Both in Bios - switch on PC and press the DEL key usually to access it whilst booting. The other bit about settings - no diea what you mean there!

"PC starts up by itself" - check for Start on LAN setting in the BIOS and disable it.
"anyone know how to change it so i receive settings while im working on it" I have no idea what that means!!!
Please re-post with more details. Then, maybe we can help.

Not sure what you mean by "receive settings while im working on it" but regarding it starting up by itself, just switch off & unplug it. Unless you intended it to start by itself . . .

Yes, it is probably set on wake on LAN, you have to go in the bios to shut it off.
As a temporary measure, just unplug it. I don't think it will come on without power.
