When you search for a photo off of Google Images, make sure that you limit your search to "large" photos only. The medium and smaller images don't have a high enough resolution to be stretched across your desktop. So, #1: Search for Large photos Also, you might try saving the photo and then opening it in a photo shop program. Crop it and re size it so that it fits the dimensions of your desktop. (IE- mine is 12"x17") #2: Crop and/or re size to fit Finally, if none of the above works, you can always choose the "tile" option when you are applying the photo to your desktop. "Tile"-ing just means that instead of stretching the photo across the entire desktop, it will repeat it in a checkerboard fashion to fill up your desktop. #3: Last resort: Tile-ing. GOOD LUCK!!

An image of Boromir aka Sean Bean from Lord of the Rings, with black background. I like to get images from the web and post them in the background. Otherwise it's my own pictures or downloaded free seasonal wallpapers.

A scene from the movie V for Vendetta! It's where all the citizens of the country wear V's mask and they're all one and united. It's an awesome background!
