She's offline, what message should I send to her e-mail? (I've never heard of scams before till I was just told & I'm lucky I didn't get into this)

My friend fell for this one. He told her to keep some and send him the rest. she verified the check and everything. She cashed it, sent him his, spent hers..a few days later the bank figured out the check was an excellent fake. She went to jail. Do not cash those checks! The email you should send her is none...block her from ever emailing you again. But, I can guarantee you, she will be back under many guises. Once they find someone that "falls" for it once (letting them get as far as to send them the checks) They DO NOT give up..be very careful of any new "friends" after this. Never give out your address or accept anything from anyone. It is actually, an older scam. It has gotten so common place the news shows don't even talk about this one anymore, because they think everyone is wise to it by now. No offense. Nothing wrong with your innocence, but don't let them use this against you.

This is a relatively new scam. Did she send a return address with the money orders? Send them back to her and tell her to find herself another sucker! And block her email address so she can't continue to bug you. If she can't cash them herself, they must be forged or phony.

It costs like $34 to send a $100 money order.

How can you cash it and then send it to her?
