I used to have a plan and now I have a pre-paid. I always seemed to have extra charges I wasn't expecting and problem after problem. I know they have better deals now then they had back then (4 years ago) but it was just such a hassle always and I still hear constant complaining now from people with plans. Plus, I don't use my cell that much because I have a home phone (it comes in my cable & internet package). Mostly I just text. So I pay $30 a month for 300 minutes, which is talk and text together, and most of the time, I don't even use that, but it carries over, so that's fine. Basically, if you talk and or text a whole lot, a plan would be better I'm sure. But if you're like me, a pre-paid is much cheaper, easier and stress-free.

HTH =)

I stick with prepaid, I really don't feel like having my credit messed up.

I enjoy my Verizon prepaid (INpulse) because I can talk on the phone all night for free if I wanted to and talk to my friends that have Verizon for free (which I have a lot of). And only buy a $15 card once every two weeks. That's the way I love doing it.

Prepaid: I rarely make calls, less than 50 minutes a month, so no sense paying for minutes I don't use.
