First: write down your thesis (what you are trying to prove)
Next: gather supporting date
Present each one separately and provide examples (such as actual incidents, events, yadi yadi yada)
repeat for each piece of evidence or supporting data (which is called a premise in an argument).
After you have mentioned all your supporting data there are two things you can do...
1) introduce a rebutal to your own conclusion and then defeat it again. By doing this you will cement your thesis... But it will make your work harder. For instance you can talk about the cons of changing the way the things are currently (economicacl downsides., etc). If you don't have further data to support the rebutal, then just kind of repeat what you said before briefly.
2) you can make a conclusion and do a closing paragraph, you can briefly summarize what you have said.

I hope I could have helped, I just don't know all the details of your data.
Best of luck

The most important thing wh en arguing for something, is to have evidence to reiterate what your argument is. It might be a bit hard to argue for bunyips? But I guess that means what you are arguing... perhaps their importance in aboriginal legends. So find out WHY they were important? HOW it affects aboriginal culture... WHAT is their purpose etc? And each time, reiterate in your speech, that what you just said backs up your point that they are important. Just think... what would it take to have you persuaded? Then go with that!

Do Bunyips exist? Aboriginal legend has it that they lurk in swamps, creeks, waterholes, riverbeds and billabongs, but...have you ever seen one? Do you know of anybody who has seen one? Has anyone ever found traces od dead animals that bunyips have killed? and so on. Hope this helps.

You need a question, something you want to prove... right now you seem to be writing informatively. Look at what you've discovered and think of a question you could argue. Or choose a new topic that you can make an arguement out of.
