I was fortunate to have grown up in a wonderful household with great parents. I think the worst thing that happened to me was that we moved out of state when I was 7 and I thought it would be the end of the world because I wouldn't be able to see my aunts and uncles and grandparents for several years.

absolute worst? if i posted it here, i would be banned for life, and no one would believe it. you'd think i was making it up.
however, my FIRST childhood memory is of me at about age 2 1/2 or 3, standing in the rain, locked out of the house. it went downhill from there.

Falling off the garage roof and cracking my chin on a car motor... I still have the scar.
I was four at time but it still didn't stop me climbing though..
Also fell out of a tree trying to get a birds nest... lucky to survive as i severely winded my self.
Still didn't stop me climbing but no other incidents that I can recall

Seeing my dog, Sandy, run over by a semi-truck, and then seeing the police drive up to Sandy, writhing on the ground with a broken spine until one of the cops shot her in the head.

When my dad came in my mom's room when we was sleeping (5 of 8 of the kids) with her and she didn't want to sleep with him in his room. He started stabbing the bed- a waterbed at that and we were all screaming. He put a knife to my mom's throat. But, my little sister who was 4 at the time told him if he did cut her we would kill him so he stopped and left. That's the beginning of my parents divorce. It was long overdue.

Seeing my mother run over by a drunk driver. I was six and we were crossing the street and this drunk woman blew the red light and my mother pushed me out of the way but couldn't get out of the way herself. I saw the car run over her and everything and then this man grabbed me and brought me into a house there and they wouldn't let me look out and I stayed there until the cops brought my grandma and Dad to take me home.

I'd rather not talk about it or think about those things long enough to remember what was WORST.
