Adderall only helps me focus at work.... my job involves a lot of physical labor and concentration. I'm spent at day's end and shower and sleep very well. Sometimes, I just crash onto the bed, shoes and all, and sleep very well.
Adderall suppresses my appetite (and that's a good thing, since I sometimes work long hours with no break). But it doesn't keep me awake.
In fact, I have worked back to back jobs (over a period of 24 hours), and the danged Adderall did nothing in the department of keeping me awake. I was nauseous from lack of sleep and actually fell asleep on my feet at one point (sh! don't tell my boss!).
