I reckon my band will be the bomb in 10 years... I just know that in 10 years, we will be the preeminent band of the century.

Depends on who's doing the listening.
I think that, given the way things are now, in ten years, "popular" will be an "ear of the beholder" thing. People have itune libraries where they downlowad "their" music onto ipods and such.

All my favorite music out of the 60's and 70's is not only available on CD's, now, but a lot of it is being sold at great prices at used bookstores.

I travel a lot with the company I work for, and frequently, I get stuck with the driving. The great thing about that, though, is that the driver gets to pick the music. And guess what's popular with me... CSNY, Simon and Garfunkel... my most recently purchased used CD, Fleetwood Mac's greatest hits...

Personally, I think good old rock 'n roll will never die.

There was rap then too, you know. :P And there's pop.

I don't know. If you'd have told me ten years ago that now, we seem to like songs that are about sex and songs that show women being used as sex objects, I'd never have believed it.

Hopefully we'll move away from that trend. o.o I'm creeped out by how many 10-15 year olds are strutting around looking and behaving like hookers.
