Need a little more info here. Removed from the deed of what? If you are talking about a house it depends on if it is financed. If it is it needs to be refinanced to get the other person off of the deed. Banks do not follow divorce decrees or separation agreements. The same is true for credit cards. If it is agreed that one person pays them and they don't the credit card does not care. The come after whoever is responsible for them. If your name is one them also that is you. All of your finances have to be taken care of by you before you get divorced or separated if you want it done right. Do not rely on the promise that the other person is going to do what they agreed to do or what they were ordered to do. Your credit can be ruined like this. Make sure that all changes are done before it is over. Good luck.
