Gone back with your wife after she left for a year? Dropped everything, said she needed to think about our life/marriage together and buggered off. Went to europe to visit friends. No contact except when she came back ranting and raving about old bills that needed taking care of, harrassing me at work, moving in almost next door to me (i had moved out of our old place that we shared together when she left and into my own). The way she threw herself back at me when she came back makes me think she saw the grass is not greener on the other side and wants my love and trust again. Is it possible that shes sincere, or is she wanting something else?

I can understand her, because I've thought of doing the same to my wife. I do not feel appreciated in our relationship and often feel I should leave so she'd know what a great guy she lost.

Hi friend,
The most important question now is "Do you still love her?". If you do, by all means, take her back & give your marriage another shot. Of course, the possibility of her leaving you again might be there. But what if it turned out well the 2nd time around?? Obviously her trip to Europe had an effect on her. Maybe it turned out to be the "one" that finally made her appreciate you. Don't get affected by what other people say because the only person who can answer this question is you yourself. Hey, it's easy to say "this & that". After all, she is not their wife. She is your wife. Either way, if it works or not, you have given it your best shot. The worst thing is listening to other people's opinions & not listening to your heart. Then 10 years down the road, you regret not giving it a 2nd shot.

She left you once, she'll probably do it again. More than likely, she was cheating on you in Europe and it didn't work out, so now she's back. You need to move on with your life. It is possible that she is sincere about it, but it could be temporary. I've been involved with a few married women before, and I know how they think.

I had it happen to me and guess what? She ended up leaving again. Don't let your heart be subject to the same torment mine has. If you have moved on with your life, then keep following that path. Don't turn back.
