Some physical problems, such as poor circulation or muscular aches, can be solved by TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine, such as acupuncture or acupressure or herbs).
However, every GOOD practicing TCM will tell you that severe medical problems, such as cancer, should also be reviewed by a doctor practicing Western medicine.

this is the question in everybody's mind but scientifically these treatment has never been proved well i have seen cancer patients dying early while they have been taking herbal medicine and yoga from ramdev ramdev is good but he can't cure aids and cancer all that if we think scientifically, herbal medicine may work b'coz all ingredients of medicine(allopathy, homeopathy, ayurvedic) comes from herbs . But the problem comes when we talk about the concentration of useful ingredients in the leaves or root. Apart from useful ingredients there are other materials too. To get proper amount of useful ingredients you have to take the whole tree which is impossible. useful chemicals are not properly extracted in herbal medicine. So they are not so popular and useful. Next, yoga : our body has the capability to fight each and every disease. But our ability has a certain limitation. To increase our limitation we practice yoga. Cancer can be fought at initial stages only. While practice yoga to increase our limitation cancer spread all over the body and it gets worse. Then acupuncture: acupuncture block nerve contact and thus blood supply of the cancer infected area with the rest of the body. Then cancer cells die. Here also cancer can be treated at initial stage only.Once metastasis(spreading of cancer cells) nothing can be done. Of these three acupuncture is more popular and is practices all around the world and its more scientific, more efficient and more successful. But don't go for all these just go for radio therapy, chemo therapy ,monoclonal antibodies ,etc. Don't play hit and trial with life

It is unlikely you will find that acupuncture cures cancer. that is because a cure generally comes from the body successfully functioning once interference is removed. It isn't the needles or moxa that cures, it is the body's response to a normalization of function that repells the disease. Acupuncture may be useful in that regard althouh yu won't find peer reviewed studies in this country. Partiall due to ethical considerastions and part due to funding. Afterall, who will make the big bucks even if acupuncture IS shown to play a role in remissions.
Herbal medicne is another subject entirely. Many herbs have been shown to be effecatious, but yur question is so general, and cancers are so incredibly varied. herbs do look very promising. especialy in prevention and early intervention.

Not exactly.
Chinese medicine has 8 branches. Two of them are Herbs and accupunture.
Generally, the best results I have seen with these two are to lessen the damage of chemotherapy to the body, but not to actually cure cancer. I know a few naturopaths that have perscribed TCM stuff for cancer patients before chemo, and it has helped, but the only consistently effective usage I saw was after chemo for recovery.
However, there are other branches of chinese medicine which are less known. I am fortunate to know a very good chi gung tui na (the least known of the 8 branches) doctor (very close friend of mine), who treated a lot of terminal cancer patients (mostly in China), when every other option for them had run out and they were soon to die. He did not get a 100% cure rate (then again with terminal patients that's impossible), but it was over 50%, and I know two of the people he fixed personally.

in medical world, miracles do happened. if the patient was declared hopeless, then i'll say, no harm trying. but if it's not, then bring the patient to the doctor and listen to what the doctor says.
lately there are many mlm sales people selling tcm claiming how their products healed cancer patients. currently there are no verified evident to show that any of these really cure cancer. when the patient is healed probably due to proper medical treatment, they claim their products work. when the patient die, they never say it's becos their product is ineffective. they'll tell u becos the patient started too late, discovered too late... all kinds of craps. don't trust them. it's all bulls**t.
as for acupuncture, the answer is strictly NO.

Personally I would do a lot of research on alternative medicine and cancer. There are a few studies that are coming out sometime soon that will give more info on alternatives. Check the below websites they may offer some help.

Cancer is caused by immune deficiency so no such things can probably help. I have not seen anyone been cured by such things.
