I hate the anime, bug-eyed look. It's ridiculous. Dolls that look like that don't even look "realistic."

I don't know, man. Isn't it ridiculous? I mean girls used to grow up wanting to look like big-boobed, long-legged barbies whose proportions were really not achievable, but are they now going to grow up wishing for giant heads and eyes?? Is this going to escalate to the point where years from now, there will be plastic surgery to get a bigger head and bigger eyes?? I mean, when Barbies were invented, in what, the fifties(?), I'm sure they couldn't really imagine the technology would someday exist to give them bigger boobs. Are Barbies the reason we have boob jobs today? Will Bratz dolls lead to head augmentations and like, elephant eyeball implants?? We'll just have to wait and see.

It's just the trend. Toy companies like to cash in on anything popular, which is why you get such odd lines every now and then.
