Yes, really hard...mainly because one doesn't want to....
After dwelling in negativity for some time and thing doesn't change for any better, isn't it time for one to look at the positive side?

Yes,
only because at times I do not look at the positive side of what is happening. My first instinction (or my human nature) is to point out just how much the situation stinks, its the easiest thing to do. If you really take the time to see all the positive aspects of your life, I see no reason why it cannot outweigh the bad in it.
Tip: If your having trouble finding a positive side to things or are on the down side of things, talk to a friend. Worse comes to worse look for some upliftment here and only listen to what positive things people have to say. Best of luck.

I know how you feel but nothing in life is easy. Once you get into the swing of things it becomes a bit easier. Making money is never easy. You have to go to school and get an education in order to make a living. Relationships with the opposite sex are hard if you don't put effort into what that person needs from you to make it work. As far as stressful friendships- drop the friends that are stressing you out. Friendships aren't supposed to be hard, Not to be pushy but you should really try going to church. If you already go to church, you should try going to classes for people your age. You could get to know people that will give you great advice and you'll start to feel stress free and like a weight is lifted off your shoulders. The bible has answers and solutions to all of your questions and doubts. :)

The older I get the more I can appreciate that there are chemical differences that exist which may prevent people from appearing "positive".
I personally fel happy and contented most of the time. I have th occasional "blue" moment but they are rare.
That being said, I have friends who feel as you do. I have no way of offering directions on what might work. But please do try and find things that will work because you family and friends need you as do any kids you might have.

Well, I usually have a half mental breakdown, laugh like a lunatic, then see the bright side of life. I just wish I would skip the half mental breakdown step.

Yes, sometimes is terribly difficult to focus on the positive side when all we can feel is negative!

Yup. Well, sometimes.
Is the glass half empty? Or is the glass half full?
Well, I'm with George Carlin on this one: The glass is just too darned big.

l sometimes think that way. lt's just a passing moment. l feel good later. Life is not always dull. lt's our outlook in life that makes the difference.
