I believe that the Celtics will make the playoffs at # 3. If the play the Pistons(which they probably will unless the Cavs can beat the Pistons). And whoever is playing against in the Eastrn Conference the Celtics will win in 6 games, maybe 4 and the Celtics will play the Houston Rockets for the NBA Championship.

Yeah they are a tough EASTERN team, an eastern championship contender at that. With that kind of line-up (barring unfortunate injuries) they would be a tough match-up against all the eastern teams. But it's a long season and anything can happen, let's just hope that the long season gives them the much needed jelling process they need to get to the next level. But I am looking their match-up against the Spurs who is this decades' yardstick of excellence if they can win one out of their two games this season we maybe seeing the re-birth of an old dynasty.

Hope this helps.

they have way too much talent to not make the playoffs this year. I'm a huge Boston fan and being that the Sox just won the series and the Pats have a really good chance at going 16-0, especially after Indy just got their *sses handed to them, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Celtics at least make it to the conference finals.

Although they could be good in the regular season, they must be tested in the playoffs. The playoffs are a totally different game. Alot of halfcourt plays and hard defense will win it. These guys don't come from teams with great defense so it remains to be seen whether they can get it together when its time for their huge salaries to be justified.

But so far so good...
