You can buy the machines but finding locations will be harder. The real problem most people have is they think this is easy money it isn't. You need to fill the machines everyday or two and repair them sometimes they are vandalized but they breakdown. Delivering them to the location and taking them back to your storage area means having a truck and hand carts and things.
You usually will need to pay for the location if it has much traffic.

The market place of places where you can place the machines is probably very saturated with people who already got into the business.

You need to find locations where there are no vending machines yet, such as where there's new commercial development. Maybe where there's some new business that has employees that need a lunch break & not lots of restaurants and fast food already close by. Like in industrial parks.

Perhaps you can find a new kind of product that can go in a vending machine ... schools want to get the kids off candy and into healthy foods.

Do apartment complexes desire newspaper stands?

There's places where people have to wait in long lines & may desire a pick me up, like at the DMV.

usually people in the vending business have a route or a number of machines. these routes are for sale occasionally. it usually takes several thousand dollars to get started. if you just want to buy a machine. look in the phone book under "vending" and hopefully you will find someone who will sell you a used machine. place the machine in a high traffic area. good luck

Ebay.
Seriously, for the small amount of time and money you spend on it, vending machines are a great investment :)

Good luck vending!
