He looks African in that image, but in the National Geographic reconstruction (link to the picture below) he looks more Arab rather than African or European.

EDIT 1: No, why don't you give it up? My image is from a reputable source - National Geographic. You didn't even say where yours was from. Besides, the Egyptians were closer to Arabs than Blacks or Europeans, and that's the truth. That's way it was then, that's the way it is even today, and that's the way it will continue to be for many years to come.

EDIT 2: Received your message. With all due respect, blacks are not the only people with dark skin. Take a look at the men in these pictures (links below). They are dark, but clearly not African - they have relatively straight hair, angular noses, and are somewhat short. They are Dravidians from southern India.

Asking if he looks African is stupid when many races live in Africa. There no difference between identifying someone race by their skin color and identifying the model of a car based on the color of it paint. No one says it must be a Ford because it has a black paint and using color to stand for race is just as stupid.

Every human has one of 3 variations of the T gene. People in the southern part of Africa have the T1 gene. The people who live in the western part of African south of the Sahara desert and all have the T2 gene. Africa Americans unless they are of mixed race have the T2 gene. Most people who live in East African have the T3 gene. Everyone in North Africa and outside of African have the T3 gene. All ancient Egyptians have the T3 gene and are of the same group that settled Europe, Asia, Australia, North American and South America.

What ever Tut looked like he more related to Europeans then African Americans.

It's clearly African, which is the continent of which Egypt is part. There's nothing European about the facial features in that reconstruction.

His mother was Queen Tiye who was from nubia and his father was Amenhotep III, so he was probably a medium shade between the nubians who were dark and the egyptians who were a tannish brown

Looks like he is somewhere in the middle. Not european, not african. More like, you said it, arabic or middle eastern looking.
